BIG CHIEF I-SPY BOOKS:

I-Spy On The Motorway (1976 Edition) - 5.94 MB (Requires WinRAR to open).
Features old motorway photographs, mainly focused on the M4 around Berkshire and London. There are some examples of old Anderson Report signs, as well as the signs we all know and love today. You will need WinRAR to open the file. This was the early edition, by Big-Chief. Later revisions of this book were made by Michelin. A version printed around 1992 was focused on the M6 and M56 in Cheshire. This series of books is now out of print, and is probably only likely to be available second hand via eBay or Amazon.

I-Spy On The Road (1964 Edition) - 3.30 MB (Requires WinRAR to open).
Features old road signs and information relating to roadways around the UK. This book was another one of the Big Chief series, and cost 1/-. The book has a couple of old motorway signs, but the majority features on other sights such as inns and buildings. This series of book is now out of print and probably only available via eBay or Amazon. Kindly donated by Simon Hollett.
